Test your Online Store

When you’re content with the design of your Online Store, you’re almost ready to launch. Before launching, you should place a few test orders to ensure your payments are processing correctly. You should also ensure your inventory, shipping, email, and tax settings are all showing up correctly on your storefront and in your admin.

There are three ways to place a test order:

1. Use Shopify Bogus Gateway to simulate a transaction
2. Use a real payment provider, and then immediately cancel and refund the order
3. If you're using Shopify Payments, then you can test your configuration by following these instructions
